Create New Account

If it is your first time visiting this website...

1. Go to Create New Account

2. Click Activate Your Account

3. Enter your Student ID and your Date of Birth

4. Enter your University Email Address (firstname.lastname@students.bcu.ac.uk OR for TIC students studentid@tic.ac.uk e.g. NI1234567@tic.ac.uk)

5. Then assign a Password to yourself

6. Click Register

If you fail to log in after completing the above steps, try again changing your email to firstname.lastname2@students.bcu.ac.uk

Validate new website account

Once you create your new account you need to validate it by doing the following:

1. Go to your University email account

2. In the email sent by the Union’s website, click on the link provided to validate your account

3. Your account has now been validated. You can now go back to the Union website and enter your login details (user name is your student id, password is the one you chose when you created your new website account)

Access University email account

1. Open this web site address in your web browser https://newstudents.bcu.ac.uk

2. Enter your user name and password. This has already been sent to you in a letter from the University.

3. Read thoroughly the terms and conditions, enter your date of birth, and click agree.

4. You will automatically access the welcome page for new students. Click on the OWA link and then on the Login to OWA.

5. Input your user name and password again
