Campaigns
Birmingham City Students’ Union is a campaigning organisation; this means that we encourage our members to participate in campaigns that they feel strongly about, to either make a change or to create awareness.
Birmingham City University is lucky to have a diverse and vibrant membership and here at the Students’ Union we would like to reflect this through the campaigns that we organise; whether it is a campaign to create awareness of a potential course closure or to educate and build awareness about accessibility to university buildings. Birmingham City Students’ Union is here for all of its students so we want you to get involved and use your voice.
With a total membership of around 24,000 we have huge potential to make many positive changes to the student experience, to each of our University campuses, to the city of Birmingham, and the nation as a whole.
Campaigning is just one of the ways in which our members can make a difference and it is also great fun and can help you to make new friends and meet people who you may share similar views, interests and beliefs with.
This section of the website provides information on some of the campaigns that the Students’ Union intends to run this year and also tells you how you can get involved in either assisting with a campaign or even help in starting your own!
