This card must be purchased before joining any Sports Clubs. The Sports Card covers Club members for insurance to compete and train with sports teams as a member of the Students’ Union. The cost of the card also contributes to the support clubs receive throughout the year from the Union, which includes staff support in the Activities & Resource Centre, travel costs for clubs to games, affiliation to national sporting organisations and leagues, the annual Sports Awards and much more. Card-holders also benefit from a reduced ticket-price to the Sports Awards.
