Starting on 25th February is a new 6-a-side Intramural League for 5 weeks. The teams can be made up of students and/or staff, boys and/or girls of ALL standards so get a team together and join this exciting league NOW!!

Official Rules
These are the revised official rules for the Intramural League, please ensure all players read them and abide by them!!
- The matches will be 10 minutes each way. Half time is a straight switch over.
- 6 players on a team
- Only the Goalkeeper is allowed in the red area in front of the goal. If a defending player goes into the red area a free kick is given. If an attacking player goes into the red area then it is the goalkeeper’s ball.
- No Slide Tackles
- Play off all 4 walls, no throw ins or corners.
- The referee’s decision is FINAL. If a player swears at the referee then they will be sinbinned for 2 minutes, if the same player then comes back on and swears again they will be sinbinned for 4minutes and so on.
- Referee needs to be told before you make substitutions so that they do not interrupt play.
- Every team will need to provide a referee when asked (see fixture table).
- Overhead balls are not allowed, if a ball does go over head height it is a free kick. However if the ball hits the frame of the goal or is saved by the goalkeeper and then goes over head height it is play on.
- If the Goalkeeper passes the ball out to their player, their player is not allowed to pass it back unless it is touched by another player, if this occurs a free kick will be given.
- Goalkeepers can only roll the ball out underarm. No over arm throws or kick outs
